Add a Device Alias
A device alias is a user-defined friendly name that provides a recognizable and convenient name for identifying devices within a system, other than the device's actual name. This allows users to:
- assign familiar or functional names to devices, making them easier to recognize and manage.
- name devices according to their preferences or organizational naming conventions.
